Prior to his time with Milburn, Costner was spotted with influencer McKenna Wesley on multiple occasions over the past year. They were first photographed at a "Field of Dreams" screening in Arizona in October 2025, and later seen having lunch in Santa Barbara. A source told Page Six that the two met in Scottsdale about a year ago and share an interest in golf. Another source noted that Wesley has stayed at Costner's properties in Santa Barbara and Aspen on several occasions.
In November 2024, The Daily Mail reported that Costner and Sharon Stone appeared flirty at the Governors Awards. A source described their interaction as polite small talk that evolved into Costner using his charm. Despite rumors, Stone denied any romantic connection to Extra TV in December 2024. She stated that she has known Costner for approximately 30 years and clarified that they are not dating.
Speculation also arose regarding a relationship with country music singer Jewel after TMZ published photos of the two on Richard Branson's Necker Island. Jewel was visiting for work with her charity, The Inspiring Children Foundation, while Costner accepted Branson's invitation to the island after declining for ten years. Costner addressed the rumors on "The Howard Stern Show" in June 2024, stating that he and Jewel are friends and have never dated. He expressed a desire to protect their friendship from the speculation.
People magazine reported in August 2025 that Costner began casually seeing casting director Kelly Noonan Gores. A source described the relationship as private and casual, noting that Gores has been grounding for Costner. The source added that Costner is not seeking a serious relationship or marriage soon, citing caution following his public divorce. The two were reported to spend time at his Santa Barbara estate, enjoying dinners and beach walks. It is currently unclear when or if they stopped seeing each other.
Brooks Nader also sparked romance rumors when she and Costner were photographed at the Las Vegas opening of the social club Zero Bond. TMZ reported that both attended a VIP dinner hosted by Scott Sartiano and were seen chatting. Nader denied the rumors to Entertainment Tonight later that month, stating clearly that she is single.
