Terms of Use
The plain rules for reading NewsSOS. The short version: we report the news, you make your own decisions — nothing here is investment advice.

Acceptance of these terms
NewsSOS is a wire and press-release news service published at newssos.com. By reading the board, opening a bulletin, subscribing to alerts, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies, and the "last updated" date below tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Editorial content is informational only
Everything on NewsSOS — bulletins, market notes, ticker movements, status labels, and analysis — is published for general information and journalism. It describes what is happening; it does not tell you what to do about it.
Nothing on this site is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, token, or other asset. We are a news outlet, not a broker, adviser, or fiduciary, and no fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the site. Make your own decisions, and consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you read here.
Press releases and sponsored content
A portion of what appears on NewsSOS originates as press releases, company announcements, paid placements, or other sponsored material supplied by third parties. This content reflects the views of the party that issued it, not the independent judgment of our newsroom.
We do not endorse, verify the underlying claims of, or guarantee the accuracy of press-release and sponsored material in the same way we stand behind our own reporting. Treat promotional language with the same scepticism you would apply to any advertisement, and check primary sources before relying on it.
Intellectual property
The NewsSOS name, logo, page design, original reporting, and editorial arrangement are owned by NewsSOS or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, link to, and share short excerpts with attribution for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, republish, scrape, redistribute, or build a competing product from our content without written permission. Press-release and wire material remains the property of its respective issuers.
No warranty
We work hard to confirm before we publish, but news moves fast and sources are imperfect. The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
Status labels such as Breaking, Live, Developing, and Filed describe our confidence at a point in time. They are honest signals, not guarantees, and a story can change after you read it.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NewsSOS and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or any trading or investment decision you make. You use the site at your own risk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NewsSOS is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Contact
Questions about these terms, or a request to license content, can go to our desk through the contact page. We read what comes in and reply to genuine inquiries.
