SpaceX reported that strong growth in its artificial intelligence division fueled a jump in revenue. In related developments, Musk stated that SpaceX will attempt to catch its Starship rocket and booster for the first time. The company is also moving to integrate with its automotive counterpart, a move that blurs the lines between its spaceflight and vehicle operations.

Tesla faces mixed signals as it navigates its robotaxi ambitions. The company announced that customers will be able to add their own vehicles to the robotaxi fleet next year, though the timeline for this feature remains subject to execution. While Tesla’s Optimus robot is in production, it is not yet ready for widespread deployment. The company’s third-quarter revenues remained flat, a result that persisted even with the introduction of flying Roadsters.

Meta Platforms Inc. is restructuring its capital strategy to support its artificial intelligence push. The company plans to create a new class of shares to fund these efforts. Meta also disclosed that it would have generated over $22 billion in revenue if it had not been required to pay a settlement related to child safety issues. In its vision for the future, Meta envisions a scenario where users interact with AI assistants, or Muses, on behalf of others.

Netflix Inc. is engaging with investors to address concerns about declining viewing habits. The company is advising shareholders not to worry about these trends, even as data indicates users are watching less content. These developments highlight a sector where companies are rapidly redefining their core businesses around artificial intelligence and new hardware platforms.
