Platform and Commercial Traction
Immersed's core product lets professionals and teams work inside shared virtual environments using AR and VR headsets, with support across macOS, Windows and Linux. The platform handles multiple virtual displays and real-time collaboration, targeting workers who would otherwise need physical monitors and office space. The company reports it has raised more than $34 million from more than 8,000 investors to date. Its technology partnerships include Meta, Samsung, Qualcomm and Google.
The company frames the commercial opportunity as a $250 billion-plus future-of-work market — its own estimate — and positions itself as the only AR/VR application with the kind of sustained weekly usage typical of professional software.
Visor Headset and the Hardware Bet
The larger revenue thesis depends on hardware. Immersed says its forthcoming Visor headset, developed in partnership with Qualcomm, carries 2 million more pixels than Apple's Vision Pro while coming in at 70% lower cost and 70% less weight — comparisons the company makes itself. More than 75,000 people are on the waitlist. Immersed is projecting $71 million in first-year hardware sales as it scales production.
A built-in AI assistant called Curator is also being rolled out with new features intended to deepen engagement on the software side.
Investor Access and Deal Terms
The current crowdfunding round is open to retail investors at $0.79 per share. Immersed says investors can receive up to 20% bonus shares depending on investment size, though shares are described as limited. Notable backers in prior rounds include former Intel chief executive Pat Gelsinger, athlete Tim Tebow and billionaire Mark McClain, along with executives from Facebook, Reddit, Intel and SailPoint.
Benzinga, which published the original notice, disclosed it was compensated to distribute the content and stated it does not offer investment advice. Immersed has not disclosed a target raise size or a timeline for closing the round. Alternative investments carry risk of monetary loss.
