Projected hardware demand for its forthcoming Visor headset is pegged at $71 million.
Platform Traction Behind the Capital Raise
Immersed built what it describes as the top productivity application on the Meta Quest headset, with users reporting up to 60 hours of weekly engagement — a usage intensity the company says has no close rival in the AR/VR category. Meta has characterized Immersed as the only AR/VR app people use up to 60 hours per week, according to the company. More than 75,000 professionals are currently on the waitlist for the Visor hardware.
The platform supports multiple virtual high-resolution displays, real-time collaboration, and integrates across macOS, Windows, and Linux. An AI assistant called Curator is rolling out new features aimed at deepening user engagement, the company said.
Visor Headset: The Hardware Bet
Immersed's Visor, developed in partnership with Qualcomm, is positioned as a lower-cost, lighter alternative to Apple's Vision Pro. The company claims Visor carries 2 million more pixels than Apple's device at 70% less cost and 70% less weight. Mass production scaling is underway, per the company. Samsung is also named as a partner alongside Meta and Qualcomm.
The Visor is intended to replace the traditional desktop setup, paired with Immersed's software stack and the Curator AI assistant.
Investor Base and Offering Terms
Early backers include Tim Tebow and executives from Facebook, Reddit, Intel, and SailPoint. The company reports 4,000% valuation growth since its early funding rounds, though it does not provide a current absolute valuation figure. Shares in the Regulation A offering are priced at $0.79.
The offering closes July 30. Benzinga, which published the original promotional summary, disclosed it was compensated for the content and noted that alternative investments carry a risk of monetary loss.
