BREAKING: Bitcoin is back above $80,000. The flagship reclaimed the level overnight after slipping to $79,100 on Friday, snapping a two-day pullback from a three-month peak of $82,800.

The catalyst: a surprise three-day Ukraine-Russia ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump. Risk-on hit instantly.

Market cap on BTC now sits just over $1.6 trillion. Dominance has slipped to 58.1% as altcoin bids explode underneath.

JUST IN: The alt tape is on fire.

ONDO leads with a 25% rip in 24 hours. JUP is up 24%. ICP adds 20%. SIREN climbs 19%. FIL prints +16%, VVV +15%, ARB +13%.

Ethereum is back above $2,300. XRP has nudged past BNB into the fourth market-cap slot after a 3% pop.

SOL, ADA, LINK and CC are all up 5% to 8%. ZEC has ripped 10% to $630. SUI, UNI and NEAR are green across the board.

Total crypto market cap has added more than $40 billion since Friday's low. The aggregate sits at $2.78 trillion.

Context: BTC bottomed near $75,000 at the end of last month after the FOMC held rates steady. The bounce that followed added roughly $8,000 in a week and tagged the three-month high before this week's $4,000 fade.

Analysts had been warning a correction was overdue. They got it Thursday and Friday. The recovery came fast.

The ceasefire headline did the heavy lifting. Crypto traders bid the dip on geopolitical de-escalation, with altcoins absorbing most of the rotation as BTC dominance compressed.

What to watch: whether BTC can hold $80,000 into the weekend session. A clean defense of the level keeps the door open for another run at $82,800. A failure puts $79,000 back in play.

For now, the tape belongs to the alts. Double-digit gains are stacking across DeFi, AI, and L1 names. The risk-on switch is flipped.

More to come as the ceasefire window plays out and the Monday open tests whether this bid sticks.
