A $150 price cut brings both versions of the Wahoo Kickr Core 2 smart indoor bike trainer to $399.99 at Wahoo and Amazon, against a standard listing of $549.99, according to current retail pages.
The discount applies to the Cog and Click model, which fits 8- to 13-speed drivetrains, and to a second configuration that ships with an 11-speed cassette already installed.
What the Kickr Core 2 does The unit mounts to a road bike. From there it connects to iOS, Android, or PC over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, allowing training apps to adjust resistance automatically mid-workout.
Interactive riding platforms can use the same connection to replicate inclines and pace group events in real time.
