Slovenia entered the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets stablecoin register through Dinaro, an electronic money institution that became the country's first listed stablecoin issuer under MiCA.
The same registry update added two new crypto asset service providers. Dinaro's entry Dinaro is classified as an electronic money institution.
That category, under MiCA, covers entities authorized to issue e-money tokens. The update made Dinaro Slovenia's first and, as of the report, only entry on the EU stablecoin issuer list.
The source did not disclose which token the institution is authorized to issue or the size of its operations.
