SK Hynix raises $26.5 billion in record US market debut

South Korean memory chipmaker SK Hynix raised $26.5 billion through a US market debut, the company said, completing the largest US listing ever by a foreign company.

The listing No foreign company had previously matched that figure in a US debut, according to SK Hynix. The company disclosed no additional transaction terms.

SK Hynix makes memory chips, the components inside computing hardware that hold data while a processor works.

The South Korean manufacturer's entry into US markets at $26.5 billion places it among the largest equity issuers the United States has seen from any overseas company.
