Ten days before the July 31 second-quarter deadline for IRS Form 941, Halfpricesoft.com released an e-file add-on for its ezPaycheck payroll software, the company said.
The add-on allows employers to submit Form 941 electronically. Halfpricesoft.com said the tool is designed to keep clients compliant and clear of IRS penalties.
The add-on and the deadline Halfpricesoft.com, based in Redmond, Wash., said it is encouraging clients to begin processing their second-quarter Form 941 now, while time remains before the July 31 cutoff.
The e-file add-on works within ezPaycheck, the company's existing payroll software, and removes the need for a separate filing platform or paper submission.
