Ethan Suplee says GLP-1 drugs won't reach an 'ideal' body without resistance training

A 300-pound weight loss built over years of diet and lifestyle change did not come from GLP-1 medications, actor Ethan Suplee said, and he argued the drugs won't get most users to an ideal physique without resistance training and changes to eating habits.

Suplee, 50, star of "Remember the Titans" and "My Name is Earl," told Fox News Digital the medications carry health benefits but are not a complete solution.

Suplee's history with weight loss Suplee weighed roughly 500 pounds at his heaviest. He began dieting at age 5 and resumed at 24 on his own.

He told Fox News Digital he cycled through yo-yo diets for roughly 15 years because he did not communicate with others about what he actually wanted.
