Katie Hobbs' reelection campaign spent more than $7.44 million in the second quarter of 2026 while raising about $2.64 million, a burn rate Republicans said exceeded incoming funds by nearly three to one.
Federal Election Commission records reviewed by Fox News Digital show the campaign ended the quarter with approximately $2.38 million cash on hand, down from roughly $7.18 million at the start of the period.
Spending breakdown and GOP reaction Tyler Bowyer, chief operating officer of Turning Point USA and a former Maricopa County Republican Party chairman, told Fox News Digital that Hobbs is "spending like a drunken sailor," saying heavy outlays on television, consultants and paid media reflect weak grassroots energy.
"When you're spending that much money on consultants and TV and paid messaging, that tells me there isn't a lot of organic energy behind the campaign," Bowyer said.
