Aave weighs closing six V3 markets as LlamaRisk recommends 50-reserve offboarding

Fifty low-use reserves across six Aave V3 blockchain markets are under consideration for wind-down after LlamaRisk, a DeFi risk management service, recommended offboarding every position on Sonic, Scroll, zkSync, Metis, Soneium, and Aptos.

Action against most of those instances was already under way before the firm published its formal recommendation, LlamaRisk said.

LlamaRisk's case for offboarding The recommendation covered all reserves on each of the six named chains as a group, not a curated subset. LlamaRisk's stated basis was low use.

The firm did not call for selective cuts or carve-outs within any of the six deployments. Fifty reserves in total span the targeted markets. Each chain holds Aave V3 infrastructure that LlamaRisk identified for removal.
